I am really being touched by Nehemiah and his story in this hour. One of the sons of captivity, now free to leave for Jerusalem; still working closely for the king.

I am so amazed at the Lord’s ability to put his people in influential places.Cupbearer was an important position in the king’s court of that day.

It was simple, you tasted the wine to see if it was what the king liked; and you tasted the wine to see if there was any poison in it. If you died, the king didn’t drink the wine. He’d just get another cupbearer. He’d get a new wine taster.

Here we find Nehemiah burdened by the condition of Jerusalem. This is his burden but his job before this burden of the Lord landed on him was to taste and serve wine to the king.

Friends, let me say this…it’s time to serve the king his wine, and with no added poison in it.

Friends, it’s time to serve the Lord another cup of wine (your love). He is in a wine tasting season. He is looking for the simple faithful offering of you love.

You may say, ‘Dale I think my love is like poison compared to the wines he’s tasted!’

To that my friends I say, ‘Give him your love. Give him a drink….(John 4: 7)’ Let him decide whether the wine is good or not. He has drank the dregs of our sin at the Cross and it did not harm him (Mk. 16:18). Yes he died on the cross but was resurrected. Our sin did not hold him in the grave.

The wine of his love can cover a multitude of sins. He wants you to drink of his love too but he needs your cup to put his love into. He wants to drink from your cup too.

Give him a drink!

‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them…’

Consider this!

Jesus drinking the wedding cup with us and the drink is the poisonous toxin of our sin, the rage of Satan and the wrath of God all mixed into one drink.

OK – that’s intense. But because of love, he drank it all, to the very dregs.

Friends, the deadly poison of who we are cannot separate us from his love. It was his love that drove him to drink.

Knowing this can release us from all our driven pursuits and our performance mindsets.

Next time your mind is weighed down with the attacks of Satan’s accusation, or the condemnation that floats in the atmosphere of human experience right now; consider this. Ask the Lord right in the midst of that moment, ‘Father, what do you think of me right now?’ Ask him to release the tender affections of his heart even in those moments.

Believe me, it will change our hearts. We will open to his love and the deadly poison of sin will not be able to stop his love from touching you.

His love will remove these toxins. His kindness will wipe away the constant fear of failure and disappointment.

Oh friends, he drank the dregs of our lives. To him it was the moment of betrothal. It was the moment he said, ‘YES!’

He drank the dregs of our lives and didn’t spit it out!

AMEN!

Recently during the Awakening services held with John and Carol Arnott and Bill and Beni Johnson; John spoke from Luke 4:18 and the moment Jesus was anointed by the Father for the ministry planed for him.

It got me thinking about the unbelief on Jesus’ family that we see manifested in the gospels.Consider this my friends. It was difficult for his family (brothers and sisters) to accept him. They knew Jesus before he was anointed for ministry. They ate at the table he ate at; the boys shared a room together (quite likely); they played together as children. Think of it!

Can you imagine the challenge it would have been to know this Jesus before his ministry anointing and have to make the switch when the miracles started?

Can you hear them?

‘He’s Messiah! No, really? Come on! He isn’t popular! He wasn’t trained in the right schools by the right Rabbis! He’s a carpenter, for goodness sakes! He isn’t even good looking!’

Friends, do you hear what I’m saying?

The unbelief on the world in Jesus’ day was quite similar to what’s hitting us in our day. Nothing has changed. We still doubt and are filled with unbelief regarding Jesus’ ability to help us right now.

It’s why I am so touched when he turned his brother James around. He helped James see why his heart was so cold and closed.

Every day we brush off life like dandruff thinking that if I can just get rid of this with the right shampoo or right conditioner; my problems will be over.

Friends, the Lord loves us!

Tell me something, can our unbelief separate us from his love?

Anything that we say can separate us or cause us to live distant means we are saying that there is something stronger than the power of his love! That’s what we are saying!

Unbelief is a real force. It is a mighty demon. Holy Spirit told me so.

But…he is not more powerful than Jesus’ love.

Song. 7: 9 – ‘…I am my beloveds, and his desire is for me.’

When you and I realize that Jesus’ desire is for me, is there anything that can truly keep us from him or he from us?

Friends, we need to break agreement with this unbelief.

How many of us look back at out 8th grade pictures staring in ‘unbelief’ into the faces of buck-toothy grins, goofy hair styles knowing now, 20 years later that many of these goofy grins judge criminals, lead businesses, and mother children.

Us? No way!?

Yes way!  What’s the response when we know someone before they were ever anointed to do what they now do?

‘You’re kidding!  I can’t believe it!’

Here’s our challenge. Can I see differently the life of another anointed by God? Can I imagine it to be so? Can my evangelism come from that place?

Can I see someone after the Spirit of God, anointed and in their right mind instead of the flesh which is so easy to see?

It starts with us receiving Him and his desire for us. I cannot see another any other way than how I think God sees me. That’s where it starts and most likely that’s where it also ends.

¹⁶ Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts.  ¹⁷ I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers, nor did I rejoice; I sat alone because of Your hand, for You have filled me with indignation. ¹⁸ Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed?  Will You surely be to me like an unreliable stream, as waters that fail?  (Jeremiah 15:16-18)

A. What is loneliness

Loneliness is a strong sense of alienation, a very powerful and overwhelming sense of emotional estrangement that is rooted in spiritual bareness but can very powerfully enhanced by scenarios of the past that produced mindsets and strong holds in the soul.

Loneliness is an empty trembling with deep pain and its nature is such that there is no amount of companionship that can touch or heal it.  Thinking that companionship is the answer, is the illusion that accompanies loneliness however it is a profound feeling of being isolated, a strong sense of invisibility and or being unheard making it difficult to relate in a meaningful way.  There is a basic sense of human loneliness and then there is an overwhelming sense of loneliness that is an inflammation that sometimes is energized by flaming arrows of the enemy.

Some symptoms of loneliness are: feelings of mistrust, internal disconnectedness from social realities (celebrations), anger, self-pity, oppression, being paralyzed internally, apathy (inability to function), loss of perspective, posturing for rejection, there as an outlook on life with a no as opposed to living with a yes

²⁰ “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”  2 Corinthians 1:20

Loneliness is an inward emotional state that is not related to personality types (extrovert or introvert).  It is not the same is solitude or being alone in that being alone is good and healthy and true solitude is about fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Loneliness is hollow and can also be described as a strong feeling of forsakenness, which sometimes can be aggravated by human contact.  Depending on the personality type loneliness can be heightened when around people and subside when alone which can lead to isolation.

¹ A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment.  (Proverbs 18:1)

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. ( 2 Corinthians 13:14)

The illusion of loneliness is to think that it is about companionship however it is a profound feeling of being isolated and sometimes a very strong sense of invisibility and being unheard  making it difficult to relate in a meaningful way when these feelings are stirred up or awakened.

Loneliness is a manifestation of anxiety in that it is rooted in a fear of being left alone and forgotten.  This fear stirs up all manner of anxieties defiling our spirit which only be healed by fully embracing the truth of the gospel and living it out in the grace of God

²¹ And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled (Col. 1:21)

The reality of loneliness is rooted in anxiety, which is a wrongly prioritized desire for honor, money, recognition and comfort.  Loneliness gives the illusion that either of these can be the solution to our despair.

Anxiety steals time (Mt 6:27) where as prayer redeems time Ephesians 5:16.  Worry is the opposite of prayer.  Anxiety is the feasting on self, not being able to see past ourselves rather then fellowshipping with the Spirit.

“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”  (Matt 6:27)

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”  (Eph 5:15-16)

The primary way out of the swirl of loneliness is Jesus’ prescribed way

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”  (Matt 6:33)

“Indeed the hour is coming yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own and will leave Me alone.  And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.”  (John 16:32)

An answer for loneliness is found in the trinity: participating in the holy and divine inner circle

The reality of the Trinity is one that must be entered into through meditation where worship becomes the conduit and container for revelation and understanding

I believe that there is significant impact that awaits us when our communion becomes Trinitarian, because Trinitarian thinking and communion causes us to get our eyes off of ourselves and get lost in the divine fellowship into which we have been called.

The modern culture of subjectivity has long since been in danger of turning into a culture of narcissism, which makes the self its own prisoner and supplies it merely with self-repetitions   and self-confirmations. It is therefore time for Christian theology to break out of this prison of narcissism, and for it to present its doctrine of faith as one of the all-embracing history of God

And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. (John 17:5)

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one…  (John 17:22)

For any woman who has given birth, just the mention of birth pangs or contractions is enough to make you sick!

From September of this year to November I have visited four countries (Canada, Korea, Poland and Norway) and I can truly say that in all four places there are contractions going on.

The churches in those nations are under extreme pressure. I have never seen such a time before in every place. It makes me think that the earth is in one major contraction right now. Pressure on the people of God in every nation, facing extreme difficulty right now.

there are so many pastors thinking of quitting or running away. Many are leaving the ministry or just killing themselves. The pain of loneliness is taking it’s toll on the church especially the leaders.

Contractions are everywhere!

Something is about to be birthed. Lord help us to walk in agreement with you. Help us to give ourselves to much prayer (much incense) that what you want will come to pass.

Amen!

While in Norway recently I found out that the nation is going to enter into 30 days of fasting and prayer.

There is a man in Kenya who has the Norwegian flag on his wall and has been crying out for Norway. He is going to fast in January and many Norwegians have heard of it.

I was speaking with some of the members of the National Prayer Council this last week and they are going to encourage the nation to fast and pray.

I have decided to enter in with the Norwegian people and join them on this fast. I think they are at a critical cross road in their history.

I believe they are like Hanna in 1 Samuel 1 crying out for the next generation of prophets.

I believe they are going to cry out for the watchmen/women of Norway to be awakened!

I believe they are going to cry out for God to visit the nation with revival.

I believe they are going to cry out for angelic help in proclaiming mercy and truth in Norway.

I believe they are going to cry out for the tearing down of false prophecy and teaching permeating the atmosphere over the nation.

But, most of all, I believe they are going to cry out for a revelation of Jesus that will so set the human Norwegian soul that something will turn in their land.

I was in Norway recently. I was preparing for a meeting and found myself in the basement of the facility where I was going to speak in utter ruin and anguish of soul regarding the Lord’s heart for Norway.

I was about to preach from 1 Samuel 1 and Hanna’s Intercession for her son, Samuel the next generation. I was so broken in prayer and was literally crying out ‘very loudly’ for God to touch our meeting that night.

In my heart during the worship I was asking him to help me anchor myself with courage to speak the message with passion. Before I went up to preach the leader came to me and said he wanted to show this short clip from David Wilkerson. It was all the confirmation I needed.

And, I realize it was something that got imparted into my heart! Enjoy!!
