CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — Police have arrested five men accused of dozens of murders, including two mass killings at drug treatment centers in this northern Mexico border city.
Police say the men were members of the Sinaloa cartel, a violent gang entrenched in a brutal turf war for control of drug routes to the United States. Read the rest of this entry »
Hi Friends,
It’s time to put all our cards on the table. It’s time to take the content of our lives and put it on the altar. Whatever remains after the refining, after the burning; we get to keep.
We need to consider our lives very carefully.
The human heart was designed to live in the ongoing and ecstatic experience of the affections of the Lord. He draws us to Himself with tenderness and mercy, on a path perfectly designed for each of us. He deals gently with the weak, and promises that the most lowly – those who struggle and yet believe – will be exalted the highest at the end of the day. His affections are our inheritance, and we will be delighted in Him forever.
God’s heart is vulnerable! There is a cry, a ‘yelp’ that comes from the human soul that moves the very core of his being. When he hears it, and it’s sincere, he cannot but answer it.
In the gospels, there are recorded stories of those who cried out to Jesus bin Joseph, ‘Son of David’ and I have found an interesting fact. All those who cried out for mercy, and used his name, Son of David – every one of them were healed and/or delivered. I don’t think it’s a mathematical equation but there is something in it.
Unexpected comets…visions…angelic visitations…the audible voice of God…, it’s like reading Luke 1 and 2 all over again.
This last weekend at IHOP-KC we reviewed the prophetic history given to the global church through a local congregation from 1982-85.

BUT…I have a question for myself and others.
Ciudad Juarez has become the murder capital of Mexico in recent months. More than 200 people have been killed in Juarez in the first 16 days of September, raising the city’s total for the year to at least 1,680 and far surpassing the total for all of last year, 1,623.
MEXICO CITY – A rash of multiple slayings rocked the border region of Ciudad Juarez this week, killing at least 30 people in what analysts describe as the late stages of a battle between drug cartels vying for lucrative distribution routes into Texas.
Hi to all our friends of For All Nations.
Just wanted to update you on three projects on the go that you may pray for the leadership of the Lord in them, and financially support them.
Many times the Lord in his mercy grants us our demands and wants that they might be our teacher. In his desire to show mercy there is a tactic used by Father that often scares me. He let’s us have what we scream, pout and moan for. Though he sees the end from the beginning, there are moments in time that he releases into our hands the very thing we do not need. Mercy is a learned behavior! And might I add, often we are slow learners! I have a strong conviction that we learn mercy through life’s ups and downs, the high’s and the low’s we talk about at the dinner table. The daily events of our lives as we walk with Holy Spirit teach and train us mercy. Read the rest of this entry »
