Introducing the ‘Emmaus Road’

I am starting a new category and project. I will work on it from time to time so this is more like a once every two week kind of thing or maybe just once a month. I don’t know yet the frequency but I do know the topic.

In this project I want to take the phrase written by Luke in chapter 24 verse 27, which says, “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He [Jesus] expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.”
I want to take each book of the Bible, find a verse in the book which shows us Jesus but which also is like the main theme verse for me in defining that particular book of the bible. I want to start with Genesis and end with Revelation. It should be fun! I want someday to be able to speak about Jesus from every book of the bible showing how even the Jewish Scriptures point to Jesus as the Messiah. I call it the Emmaus Road cause that is where Jesus found these two men speaking about the recent events in Jerusalem. I will start soon.
