Beauty of Jesus seen in a life of surrender – Joshua 5 (pt. 1)
In the story of Joshua (chapter 5) we see a very powerful encounter where Joshua confronts a man that has drawn his attention. This man has a drawn sword as if he is waiting for Joshua to arrive.
Who is this man?
Restoring the Masculine Soul by Gordon Dalbey (A Book Review)
OK – so a friend of mine suggested this book and it’s real strong. Gordon Dalbey in his book, Restoring the Masculine Soul’, is not presenting another male self-help book. He’s not getting the men all riled up to go against their wives. No, he is calling for the redemption of the masculine soul.
21-Days of Fasting – Call to Daniel fast – Sept. 29 – Oct. 19, 2011
Whatever the reason you may fast, join our community for 21 days of seeking the Lord. Draw near to God and he will draw near to us. (James 4:8) He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. (Heb.11) Seek the Lord while he may be found…(Isa. 55:6)
Living Holy – Mike Bickle
Holiness is not simply living a sinless life. In fact, if we focus only on that aspect of the holiness of God; we often fall short of the fullness and glory of his plans for us.
Holiness to me is understanding the dignity of being called out as a human being made in the image of God to display the knowledge of God. Holiness to me is seeing God for who he is and living in the overflow of fascination left imprinted on the heart.
Lessons from the Bee Hive – #2 Honey
My son, eat honey because it is good…So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul…Prov. 24:13
Honey from the comb is absolutely amazing! What is greater is the honey from the word of God which is like the comb. Tasting the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, changes the soul and renews the mind.
I See The Lord – Ron Kenoly
An oldie that never fades away! Ron singing Isa. 6 and Rev. 4-5
Bee Hive Theology #1
I am writing this to celebrate our first harvest of honey from our bee hive. I marvel at the faithfulness of the Lord who holds all things together by the word of his power (Heb. 1:3). The Lord holds all things together. The earth spins on its axis and rotates in its orbit. Ants crawl, snakes slither, horses gallop, and bees fly and make honey!
