We have been given weapons…from the Lord himself…mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds.

Esther’s Second Intercession – Esther 8

My heart is stirred tonight with the story of Esther’s intercession in Esther 8. This scene is different than what we see in Esther 5.

We are in an Esther 8 season…it’s time for the travail of intercession that seeks the ’signet ring of authority…’

Removing the toxin of ‘fear’ –

Fear is a paralyzing attack against the human soul, mind, and emotions. In our fear we are usually focused on two main things or two fears – 1] God will not protect us; 2] God will not provide for us.

Considering the Cross of Christ

The Cross of Jesus Christ is quite a paradox for me at this moment. Consider it with me for a moment. Think of it! The very place where God in one moment of time has the opportunity to express his deepest zeal for holiness by judging sin through the life of his son and his blood.

Prayer Focus – Pakistani Taliban

Our next prayer focus are the Taliban in Pakistan. I’ve included the link to an article regarding some of the threats they are promising to deliver on with the USA.

I have no doubts that in many nations Americans have misrepresented godly virtue and grace. We need to repent of this, however, let us be clear, true peace in the Middle East and in Central Asia (all the -stans) comes only in Jesus Christ, Messiah, on the throne in Jerusalem – he is the true peacemaker, called the Son of God.

Prayer Focus – Mexico (northern border)

Our next Prayer Focus is on Mexico and the President’s War on the Drug Cartels.

Prayer Focus – Russia

I am starting a new special category called, ‘Prayer Focus’. With each segment, I am giving a brief excerpt or description of a place, some prayer points and an Apostolic Prayer to use in praying for the location mentioned. I have purposely picked places that have been listed on the World Wide Web’s ‘Most Dangerous Nations’ List. This is not to poke fun or make anybody look bad, it’s just to focus on praying for a place that needs a greater revelation of Jesus.

The Cross of Jesus – My Only Hope!

I am looking at the law of God and the brokenness of humanity. There is only one hope and that is the redemption of Jesus through his cross.

We need fire!

Revelation 8: 3 – tells us that in heaven at the opening of the seventh seal, an angel with a golden censer is given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of the saints upon the golden altar which is before the throne…the smoke created by the incense and prayers creates a fire on the altar that when cast to earth (vs. 5) looses ‘noises, thunderings, lightnings and an earthquake.’

Priesthood of Melchizedek

Jesus exemplifies the fullness of the priesthood found in the order of Melchizedek. I am hearing an invitation into the understanding of the Melchizedek priesthood. We are told that there is much to say about this priesthood, it is hard to explain because of dullness of heart (Heb. 5: 9-11).
